What We Do
Comhairle na Gàidhlig provides representation and leadership for the Nova Scotia Gaelic Community. We advocate and lobby on behalf of the community to ensure their needs and interests are met. We advise the business sector and government, including school boards, in regards to the advancement of awareness and policy, which strengthens our culture and preserves our heritage. The non-profit, volunteer organization, in partnership with other leading Gaelic community organizations, advises and makes recommendations, ensuring the fostering of growth of Nova Scotia’s unique Gaelic identity. We work with our partners to lead the development of Nova Scotian Gaelic language and culture.
"A great resource for our province's Gaels and others interested in the Nova Scotia Gaelic Culture."
